The bluffside acreage surrounding the resort is planned for acquisition and permanent protection through a conservation easement. Development will remain on the plateau; the slopes and overlooks will be preserved as an enduring natural edge.
Only low-impact hiking and riding trails are envisioned within the conserved land—opening the landscape to exploration while protecting its forests, habitat, views and character.
